But the song in my head is as loud as a plane
And as long as a train pulling grain
And it follows me around like a three-legged hound
Getting by on two legs
And a sprain

Who'd believe everything I've gone through
But now I'm sane
Now I'm simpler

Now I'm spending the night all alone
