Description: Guitar
When the moon moves on the city
And weaves a silver thread
Down the alley through the window
And across your big white bed
We were standing on the rooftop
And I remember what you said
When you said, "I would be honoured
If you'd stay the night
In my big white bed"
Big white bed
And in the morning in the mirror I could see
A light that you ignited shining in my eyes
Light of the living
Summer turned to autumn
And the leaves turned red-wine red
And they gathered on the sidewalk while we loved
In your big white bed
And in the morning in the mirror I could see
The light that you ignited shining in my eyes
It was the light of the living
The light you were giving
And when the wandering's over
And I look back on the life that I've lived
I'll be grateful for my days in the sun
And those nights
Big white bed
The light of the living
