Description: Guitar
In Brazil I had no shadow
As I walked down the street
In Rio De Janiero
Only sandals at my feet
There was no shadow at my feet
And my feet walked on the beaches
And through the jungle on the hill
Where the train climbed up to Jesus
Who stood perfectly still
He was not very complicated
He just stood perfectly still
And the sun hung close as jackfruit
To cure the coffee beans
And the spider monkeys spun the webs
Up in the jackfruit trees
In Brazil I had no shadow
I saw no one that I knew
I walked the Ipanima sidewalk
And I did not think of you
I finally did not think of you
And the sun hung close as jackfruit
To cure the coffee beans
And the spider monkeys spun the webs
Up in the jackfruit trees
In Brazil I had no shadow
Either did anybody else
And I did not speak in English
I did not think of myself
As my feet walked on the beaches
And my eyes walked on the sea
And I rode the train to Jesus
Who said, "Look how simple it can be"
Oh the sun hung close as jackfruit
To cure the coffee beans
And the spider monkey spun the webs
Up in the jackfruit, up in the jackfruit
Up in the jackfruit tree
